Wow!! A NEW Update!?

What madness is this!? Okay, I just managed to get myself a Wacom Cintiq,and holy SHIT this thing is a time saver! It makes sketching and drawing in photoshop so much quicker an easier!
To that end, here are a few of the pieces I've managed to get done over the past week or so:

Powergirl beating up a scumbag robber, drawn by Mike, inked and coloured by me.


A Beach Babe sunning herself, also drawn by Mike, this time only coloured by me.


An old, old picture of Gum from Jet Set Radio Future drawn, inked and coloured by me.



A piece done by me entirely in photoshop a while back, just some pilot babe chillin' on the head of her mech on a beautiful day.


And finally a picture drawn and inked by Kid Notorious of a Chibi Ken and Ryu from Street Fighter.

Jubilation!!

Inspired by a Jam over on deviantart in which the objective was to redesign Marvels Merry Mutant Mischief Maker Jubilation Lee a.k.a: Jubilee! Now, I love the character, and I know she was a product of her time, but seriously, what the FUCK was up with the yellow trenchcoat/ pink wrap-arounds combo!? Yeesh...
So, drawn traditionaly, inked in Adobe Illusrator, and coloured in Adobe Photoshop.

Superman: Last Son

Mike sent the individual lines for these pictures to me a few days ago, and I new as soon as I saw them they would make an awesome group shot. So, I inked them up, coloured them and did a little bit of jiggery-pokery in photoshop, and this is the final result. Mike was horrified, however, when I told him I hadn't read a Superman book sonce the Death and Return of Superman, and suggested I hunt down Last Son and give it a go.

So I did. And all I can say is Wow! What an awesome way to introduce Zod, Ursa and Non into the comic book canon!

Orc Slaying Babe!

Drawn at work one night last week, this was inked in Illustrator and coloured in photoshop. This became something of an excercise in anatomy, and it made me realise a couple of other things along the way:

1. I cant draw animals for shit. I had to erase the wolf I'd drawn orignally and re-draw it in photoshop about 4 times before I was happy with this one, and even then, it's not very good. Something to work on.

2. I REALLY need to practice foreshortening, especially in regards to limbs and such.

Still, I'm learning new things about my art every day. And that can only be a good thing.
